Founder and owner Allison Stevens is a registered dietitian with a master’s in nutrition and is constantly devouring nutrition research articles and trendy food magazines to ensure the menus bring you the latest and greatest in both nutrition bang and flavor combos.
Green
All the food prepared is fresh and minimally processed. We strive to use nothing canned, boxed or processed. When possible, locally grown organic produce and meats are used. Additionally, for maximal flavor and minimal impact on the environment we aim to use seasonal produce. This philosophy and style of cooking is often referred to as a “green cuisine,” meaning not only is it better for you, but it’s also better for the environment.
In addition, our company strives to be green in day-to-day business operations, for example:

- primarily paperless
- recycle
- fuel efficient cars

- Use herbs and/or produce from your own garden

Clean
Our food is also “clean.” What this means is simple, straightforward food that is not muddled down with processing, additives and preservatives.
Pumped up FlavorMany chefs use butter, salt and heavy cream as a crutch to add flavor to foods. At Austin Wellness Chefs we first reach for fresh herbs, spices and citrus to keep taste buds entertained and happy. Yes, we use salt and butter, but only when necessary for taste.
Kid Friendly
All of our dishes are kid-friendly. We promise your kiddos can (and will) enjoy veggies and develop a taste for healthy eating. We’ve converted many a veggie-hater into craving steamed sugar snap peas, kale chips & cauliflower “mashed potatoes”. Additionally, your personal chef adjusts seasonings and spices to accommodate you and your family’s preferences.
The one pattern of eating we most try to emulate is a Mediterranean style. This includes loads of fresh produce, whole grains, nuts, seeds and herbs as well as clean seafood, dairy, local, grass-fed meats and healthy fats like olive oil and avocado.
InternationalWe rely heavily on international flavor combinations to tantalize your taste buds- whether it be an herb-filled chimi-churi sauce, a creamy curried peanut dipping sauce, sesame-ginger glaze or a chipotle bbq sauce.
Quality IngredientsWe strive to use high quality ingredients. We take the extra step of talking with the guy at the meat counter and even visiting local ranches and farms. High quality ingredients we love:

- local honey as a sweetner
- local, grass-fed beef
- sustainable seafood
